I believe, This is the most famous tourist spot for Asam Laksa in Penang.
After visit Kek Lok Si Temple, we walked down the street to hunt for Asam Laksa for our lunch..This place is crowded and we were standing under the hot sun and waiting to grab a seat..lol
In the end, they asked us to cross the road to sit oppsite their stall(inside food market) is sheltered.
The price I paid for a bowl of Asam Laksa was RM2.50. Now has been increased to RM2.70. Is a MUST TRY food in Penang.
A bowl of sourish sweet Assam Laksa has smooth Lai Fen (noodle) with topped on ingredients of bunga kantan (ginger flower bud), onion, cucumber, lettuce, red chili, mint leaves, chili padi and drizzle with Heh Koh (prawn paste).

Deep Fried Po Piah - Must Try!!
Other than the Asam Laksa, we also ordered deep fried po piah juz next to the laksa shop, Loh Mee and Char Koay Teow. Penang food is still the best!
All the food are below RM3.00 per dish, Definitely can't get it in KL.
